Dear Friends,

We hope this note finds you well.

On the 12th of Adar (March 11-12), we will mark the 14th yahrzeit of our beloved son, Elisha Chanina z”l. It is difficult to believe that this much time has passed on the calendar. Lishi continues to shine his beautiful light inside our hearts and souls, and we continue to miss his presence in our lives each and every day.

Lishi would have been turning 19 years old soon and would be learning in yeshiva, preparing for his next stages of life. We can only dream of where he would have gone in the future.

Together with the added devotion of Am Yisrael to Tefillah and to Torah learning at this time, we would like to continue our yearly initiative to make a siyum on Lishi’s yahrzeit on all of Tanach and Mishnayot. We deeply appreciate everyone who sets aside time to learn. Every person makes such a difference.

To sign up to learn:  Lishi's z"l 14th Yahrzeit

As you know, Lishi's yahrzeit is right before Purim. Darkness and light side by side. During this difficult time of tragedy and suffering in Am Yisrael, there have been many extraordinary lights that have shone bright in the darkness. One such light is "One Family"- which has been assisting victims of terror and bereaved families for over 20 years. Since Oct.7th they have been at the forefront of helping those impacted get the treatment they need to cope and try to rebuild their lives. (We have the honor of knowing personally the amazing founders of this organization as they are our upstairs neighbors 馃檪)

Every year One Family gives Mishloach Manot to thousands of terror victims and bereaved families. This year in Lishi's memory we would like to contribute to their efforts.

Be”H we will continue our program of sending food packages on a yahrzeit to make sure families know they are in our hearts and their loved ones are remembered. We continue providing resources to bereaved families through www.inourheartsproject.com.

We are honored when individuals choose to help support our work in Lishi’s z”l memory. If you would like to do so, you can here: https://www.lishislove.org/donate/

May we all be blessed to see 谞住讬诐 讜谞驻诇讗讜转 讬砖讜注讜转 讜谞讞诪讜转 speedily. May all the hostages and holy soldiers come home safely, and may we be blessed with the Geulah Shleima.

Wishing you well,

Karen and Aaron and family
