Vivek Rawaswami very much wanted to be President. He PROMISED when he was in the race that he will win the election by a landslide. He was right about the landslide part but not him *winning* by a landslide but losing massively. He wasn't even close.
Good for the Jews - he is in favor of being Israel's *friend* but as a true friend would not give Israel a penny. Since the US gives Israel billions [I think 18 billion this past year] - that lack of aid would choke us. Anyway - he is still planning to be President but in the meantime is working on Governer of Ohio.
He was challenged by someone in the audience at a talk of his that since he is a Hindu polytheist, how can he lead in a monotheistic country?
His response was asking the person if he is a Christian. The person said he was. So, asked Vivek - do you believe in the [Tamei] trinity? Yes - the man answered. Do you consider yourself a monotheist? Yes. Well, said Vivek - I am also a monotheist.
Well - he asked a great kashya. How can you consider yourself a monotheist when you have not one god but three?!! He didn't ask the man to explain.

Anyway - Vivek apparently then isn't a monotheist and nor is his Christian interlocutor.
Vivek then called him to the stage and had him read the line from the Constitution where it says that nobody should be denied public office b/c of his religious beliefs.
SO THERE!! You could be Satmar, believe that Medinas Yisruel is a myseh Satan and still be President. Or you can be a Hamas supporting Muslim Communist [strange mix] and be elected Mayor of NYC.
