Work To Deserve

A non-Jew wrote the following but it quite accurately describes the Torah attitude: 

"The main reason people don’t get what they want, is because they don’t have the self-awareness to realize that they don’t deserve it yet. 

Instead of complaining about not having it, ask yourself what work you have to do to be more deserving of it."
