Marry Giyores ?

If the איסור of לא תתחתן בם applies to the seven nations even after they convert [as the ספר החינוך says it does] then according to R' Meir that we are חיישינן למיעוטא then how can a Jew marry any convert - maybe they are from the ז' עממין??
