From the news it sounds like the entire country is one big war zone with shells and rockets flying everywhere.
It is not.
In MOST places in EY it is quiet and not dangerous in the slightest. Of course, the goal of the enemy is to destroy every last one of us חס ושלום לא יעלה ולא יבוא but in the meantime בחסדי השם and thanks to His trusted messengers חיילי צה"ל most of us not on active duty are safe and sound.
A huuuuuge ישר כח to all of the yidden who live near the border who ARE being shelled. Their residence in places like Ashkelon and Sderot make our quiet lives possible - now and even in times of peace.
