I just read about an organization "נשים עושות שלום" - Women wage peace. These are a group of *brave women* who will most certainly bring to a permanent peaceful resolution to the Middle East conflict.
From a recent statement of the organization:
" ... even today, amidst the pain and the feeling that the belief in peace has collapsed, we extend a hand in peace to the mothers of Gaza and the West Bank. We mothers, together with women from all over the world must unite in order to stop this madness."
OK but be careful. These mothers might well either cut off your hand or have their husbands and sons do it instead [and not suffice with the hand].
"Hamas must not be allowed to win!"
Thank you!!! We needed that!!! Otherwise, we all would have thought that Hamas SHOULD be allowed to win.
"For 9 years since the end of “Operation Protective Edge”, we, Jewish and Arab mothers have been telling the leadership in Israel – enough! We must turn every stone in order to reach a political solution. This is our obligation for the future of our children."
The Israeli leadership doesn't need your instruction. They independently want a political solution. The problem is all of our enemies who are only thinking about the "final solution".
"This war proves, more than ever, that the concept of “managing the conflict” failed. The idea that dealing with the resolution of the conflict could be postponed indefinitely has been proved to be fundamentally wrong."
RIGHT! So we need Teshuva and Moshiach. Not a bunch of lefties with nutty ideas.
"We hear words of revenge: “all restraints have been removed”, “we’ll wipe out Gaza”. But one cannot resolve one injustice with another injustice. We grieve the death of innocent Palestinians, among them hundreds of children, who are being killed in this accursed war."
This is not mere revenge. This is protecting ourselves and YOU against an aggressor who openly wants and works for our destruction. If we play with kids gloves and try to "negotiate" they will try to slaughter us all. And the war is not "accursed". It is a mitzva. The people who slaughtered innocent Jews are accursed.
"Despite the rage & pain in the face of the criminal acts committed by Hamas, including incessant shelling of towns all over Israel, we must not lose human dignity. It is our obligation as mothers, women, human beings & as an entire nation not to lose these values."
Indeed. Tzahal is trying to maintain the dignity of the Jewish people.
"We must maintain & strengthen the solidarity between the Jewish & Arab public in Israel & continue to act against racism & hatred. The Arab public, which has lived for years with its internal conflict, rallied in this difficult time for the sake of the entire Israel society."
YES INDEED. The Arab public has most certainly rallied for the sake of the entire Israeli society. 🤣🤣🤣😂
"We demand that Israel prevent a flare-up in the West Bank and not allow extremist elements from both sides to incite the region, as has already happened this past week."
Who are you to demand? Maybe Israel has to worry about her security and not what a bunch of looney women think? And frankly - Israel doesn't want a flare up in the "west bank" but it is not up to them. It is up to the Arabs. If not for the violence of the Arabs, there would be peace here in five minutes.
"Last but not least, we will say that even though this is 2023, there are almost no women in decision-making forums in Israel. This is an intolerable situation that must change. We demand that the negotiation team for the release of the abductees include women."
If there are women who are as or more qualified than men then why not. But if the men are more qualified, then why should we have inferior women negotiating to satisfy your woke stupidity sensibilities?
These woman are a menace to society and an affront to basic intelligence. The Torah mandates war when necessary and now it is absolutely necessary. Their energies would be better spent baking and cooking for the soldiers and sending it to the front to improve morale and fill stomachs and not spreading their toxicity.
