But I do find it sad that this whole tragedy of שפיכות דמים by those animals started at a festival of גילוי עריות and עבודה זרה on a Yom Kadosh like Shmini Atzteres-Simchas Torah. [The מעשה of the עגל הזהב also started with ע"ז and ג"ע which then resulted in a lot of deaths]. As reported in the news:
Surveying the scene where ZAKA, a nongovernmental rescue and recovery organization, said 260 people had been killed, Hagari added that it looked “like something from World War II.”
It’s a far cry from videos posted on social media before the incursion, which showed young people dancing to trance music under a giant Bu--ha statue and prayer flags.
Again - it is for נביאים to explain דין שמים. It is for regular humans to ask themselves why we are fighting חמאס for a country where people freely drink, dance to trance music, go to the tents that were set up there to do *what people do at night* and serve Avoda Zara.
For this we don't need Eretz Yisrael.
How did the secular PM describe it? "רוצחים שטובחים ושוחטים באזרחינו, בילדינו, שבסך הכל יצאו לבלות בחג". Just "יצאו לבלות בחג".
