Court lets Netanyahu skip testimony next week for trip to meet Trump

JERUSALEM - The Jerusalem District Court agreed on Wednesday to again cancel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s upcoming scheduled testimony in his criminal trial, this time due to his visit to Washington next week.

Judge Yoram Peel explained that "we are doing everything we can so that eventually Mr. Netanyahu will land in jail. That is our goal. On the other hand, the State of Israel is facing an existential threat and if we don't allow him to do his job we fear that there will be no State to contain the jail we want Netanyahu to sit in. So we are constantly after him trying to make his life miserable as if he doesn't have enough to worry about while trying to also allow him to do his part in maintaining the security of country as we face constant threats from everywhere. But eventually we must depose him and get the left back in power."

One of Netanyahu's closest aides said off the record: "The judge is a real Klippah. Literally."

Trump commented on his Truth Social account: "I know how Benji feels. Those criminal LOSER judges tried to put me behind bars, too. Now I am the boss of all of them".
