From The Mouths Of Babes - Moshiach
Dedicated to my newest, purest and most beloved friend in the world - Aidel Shoshana "Shana" Bas R' Shmuel Tzvi Vi'Rivka Chaya Rauch. May she light up the world with her holiness. She is truly a "Delicate Rose".
The most fundamental and primal nature of man is purity and goodness. After the sin of Adam and Chava we lost it. However, there is still some trace of that purity in the souls of children. Therefore, the Torah that they learn is the most elevated and lofty. The gemara says that the world exists only in the merit of the Torah of school children. One day soon Moshiach will come and eradicate evil from the world. This will be facilitated by the power of children's Torah study. The absolute good of their Torah will vanquish the absolute evil of the world.
Adults usually think that they have so much to teach children while forgetting how much children have to teach them. I envy children. There is nothing more holy, more real, more connected to what we are supposed to be. Adults send so much time and effort trying to impress and worrying how others are perceiving them that they lost sight of the most important trait a person can possess - the ability to be GENUINE. Children by contrast have no airs about them and are sweetly [usually..] and truly the way G-d wants them to be - themselves.
Next time you see a child - try to treat him or her with the utmost respect as befitting human beings closest to the source.
Love and blessings!
3 Ways
Yaakov prepared himself to meet Eisav in 3 ways: A gift, prayer and prepared himself for war.
The yetzer hara can similarly be dealt with.
Gift - Give him a good nap or a delicious meal or new clothing. Tell him that he should now be satisfied and that you have to go to a shiur and he should leave you alone.
Prayer - Ask Hashem to help you overcome his tricks. No more getting down on yourself, no more gtting angry, no more wasting time etc. etc.
War - Sometimes when things are tough you have to say "Sir [or Madame] - I am sorry, I can't give in. I am going to destroy you now." Then go say five prakim of tehillim from the depths of your soul. Or learn a simman from Chiddushei Reb Aryeh Leib.
TKO! ["Technical Knockout" for those fortunate enough to know nothing about boxing].

Being Understood
One basic need for human beings is to be UNDERSTOOD. Therefore it is a great chesed to understand another person. Yet, there are very few people who actually do! Why is this so?
In order to understand somebody else one needs to step out of his or her own reality and enter as much as possible into someone elses. This requires a nullification of the ego that necessitates one to transcend nature. Most people are not aware of this, or even if they are aware they are not willing to do so. So the mass of men continue to suffer a feeling of loneliness due to the knowledge that, maybe not physically, but emotionally, they are indeed all alone.
Try to understand someone today. Be like Hashem. He understands:-)!
