Chazal tell us that the root of all שירה in the world is שירת הים! This שירה was the coup de grace [French for "TKO"] of our separation from, and victory over, the evil of Mitzrayim. This means that to the extent that we distance ourselves from Mitzrayim, we can reach that ecstatic level that enables us to sing to Hashem which is a culmination of the geulah.
