A response to this post from a Ra"m in a Yeshiva:
I write dozens of individual direct emails and whatsapps every week to alumni. At least 1500 alumni can’t say that they were not contacted by me more than once this year. Granted these are not phone calls or in-person meetings, but some sort of contact.
I don’t know what yeshiva you are referring to or how it’s phrased. Obviously if it makes it sound like he is in touch with 2000 alumni a day/week/month, I don’t believe it. Also, if it sounds like he makes 2000 phone calls. But if a person makes an effort and makes it a priority to stay in touch, 2000 a year is difficult but doable.
To this I say: WOW!!! KOL HAKAVOD TO HIM AND THOSE LIKE HIM:-)!
