I saw some mussar on a sign on the sidewalk here on the UWS.
It said "Curb your dog".
We all have a "nefesh ha-behemis" - animal soul. We like to eat, drink, sleep and provide the body with ALL SORTS of pleasure. We are asked "Please curb your dog". Keep the nefesh ha-behemis in check so that your soul can shine forth!
