Security And Its Loss

We like to feel secure. So we buy life insurance, house insurance, car insurance and health insurance. We are insured!! 

We don't like to rent homes. We BUY. Huge down payment, long term mortgage, but it is worth it because we need the security of owning. 

We don't like to live from paycheck to paycheck. We like to make a LOT more than we need and put a lot away - for security. Now we are set. We own our million dollar home, money in the stock market, some more in real estate, some more in the [Swiss?] bank and we are SET!!

We also have our connections. We know [or know people who know] big doctors, big lawyers, bigwigs and all types of prominent people. We all know either know someone who Trump knows personally or at least know someone who knows someone who Trump knows. We are WELL CONNECTED!! That makes us feel secure. If we ever have a problem, we have a whole network that can solve our problem.

[Note - There is nothing wrong per se with doing any of the above]. 

Now what happened?

GLOBAL PANDEMIC!!! 

Security in the garbage. NOTHING is secure anymore. Not our lives or health, not our food supply [they are talking about a global food shortage רח"ל], not our investments, not our jobs, not our money - NOTHING. The most powerful people in the world are at a loss what to do. 

THIS IS SCARRRRRYYYYYY!!!!!

The entire world order is QUICKLY but surely unraveling. 

EXPONENTIALLY SCAAARRRYY!!!

So as מאמינים בני מאמינים we have but one option. LET GO of our notions of security and remember that we are ALWAYS in a precarious situation - despite all of our efforts to the contrary. All we have is our trust in Hashem.      

Could that be one of the purposes of this whole episode???
