Iran Better Than Israel??? To Say That You Need To Be A Brilliant Nobel Prize Winning Scientist

A well known Israeli scientist who won a Nobel prize recently received a lot of publicity when he expressed his enmity towards the Charedim. Iran is going in the right direction but - he claims - Israel is going in the wrong direction, all b/c of those backwards Charedim.

Indeed, Charedim are against education. against enlightenment, against working. But Iran - those dudes are SUPER-enlightened. We oughta be more like them.  🤣🤣🤣 All THEY want to do is NUKE our entire population.

Well here is the truth Mr. Nobel-Jew-Hating-Jew: Charedim actually give their children an extremely thorough, rigorous, intense education that lasts a lifetime. Charedim NEVER stop learning - no matter what they are doing to make a living. They just don't learn the subjects you want them to learn. They learn the word of Hashem and spend every moment trying to fulfill His will. [This is a general statement. That is the "Charedi" philosophy and ideal. Of course, nobody is perfect]. They are also not against enlightenment. For them being enlightened means to understand what it means to have good character, a happy family, and how to keep every mitzva properly. Who to give tzedaka to and how much. How not to take interest on a loan. How to honor parents and what it means to not steal or embarrass another human being. No - most of them don't know physics or chemical engineering but that is OK b/c we weren't created for that purpose. We were created to be kind, sensitive caring people who model their behavior after a Perfect, Loving G-d. If knowing secular disciplines helps one serve Hashem then Charedim are all for it.

Working? Surprise, surprise. In just about every single Charedi family at least ONE of the spouses works. It is often the wife but sometimes the husband as well. Otherwise - they wouldn't be eating. The six hundred dollars a month the man takes home from Kollel just doesn't make it for their 8-15 children.

Anti-Zionist? Well it depends how you define "Zionist". If a Zionist is one who says we don't need G-d, religion, and jettisons 5000 years of a GLORIOUS heritage in favor of a bankrupt, socialist ideal - indeed they are not Zionist. But a Zionist can be one who lives in Israel and contributes to this country by [besides paying taxes and other things] ensuring that the Jewish people remain Jewish. According to that definition they are all Zionist. Maybe not giving Ben Gurion-ists nachas but giving [להבדיל] the Ribbono Shel Olam nachas.

To sum it up - Charedim want to live their lives as the Navi [ירמיהו ט כ"ב-כ"ג] directs:

Thus says Hashem, "Don't let the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, don't let the rich man glory in his riches. But, let him who glories glory in this, that he has understanding, and knows Me, that I am Hashem who exercises loving kindness, justice, and righteousness, in the earth, for in these things I delight," says Hashem.

May the unwise Professor [ראשית חכמה יראת השם] do Teshuva Shleima!!!
