A Modern Orthodox rabbi in Israel [known here as "Dati Leumi"] says that in all of the religious high schools they should be taught about birth control b/c when they get to the army and college some of them will become sexually active and need this information. Before discussing whether he is correct in saying that they should be taught about birth control - isn't it a MAJOR PROBLEM when THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of GOOD people are sending their religious, Torah observant children to environments where it is a [as they call it today] "slam dunk" that they will be sexually active???

Shouldn't the conversation be - maybe we SHOULDN'T send our children to places where it is יהרג ואל יעבור to be?? [Not my language but that of the Chazon Ish]??
