There are large posters plastered over the streets in Charedi neighborhoods featuring a letter signed by major Roshei Yeshiva and Poskim, exhorting everyone to have their children vaccinated and asserting that it is a Torah obligation [ונשמרתם מאד לנפשותיכם].
But that won't make it into the news. It WOULD be all over the news accompanied by a big outcry if they had signed a letter saying that one SHOULDN'T vaccinate one's children [as happened when a big Rav in America said as much].
Moral: People often look for the negative - especially the media. Consumer beware...
