I was in a room where it was absolutely forbidden to learn Torah and so to relax a bit I watched an old Dolphins - Jets game from 1980. I grew up [from the mid 70's to the mid 80's] a rabid Dolphins fan. The Jets won with a last second touchdown [I skipped to the end. I don't have patience to watch a whole game].
I am totally convinced that this game is meaningless. It also took place close to 40 years ago. And yet - I WAS UPSET THAT "WE" LOST!!! [Even writing about it makes me upset].
Where irrational emotion trumps logic....
Lesson: Don't waste your passion on the results of other people's games.
