Rav Moshe Feinstein would kiss his children in shul. Even though the Halacha is that it is forbidden, R' Moshe held that it applies only during tefilla [and it is brought in Shulchan Aruch in Hilchos Tefilla and NOT in Hilchos Beis Haknesses].
