One Soul - Part 2

I grew up davening in the shul of HaRav Dovid Brodman ztz"l in a small town in the center of Israel [in an area called "Gush Dan"] called Savyon. Rav Brodman was a little Dutch boy who survived the horrors of the Holocaust, came to Eretz Yisrael, learned Torah both there and in Gateshead, became certified as a Rav and Dayan and for decades was the Rav of Savyon after serving for about 10 years as a Dayan in Holland. It was recently his second yahrtzeit.

He was quiet, soft spoken, unassuming, pleasant mannered and easy going. I loved listening to his drashos. Many of the simchas in the shul were for irreligious Jews and he knew how to encourage people to become better Jews w/o turning them off. He did a tremendous amount in his life in leading his community. But besides that at the time of his passing he had over 200 descendants of frum bnei Torah!!!!!!!!!!!! It won't take long for that number to reach one thousand.

Amazing!!!
