This is my theory: for thousands of years the Goyim have persecuted us. [That part isn't theory but fact]. In America, on an institutional level, we are no longer persecuted [although there recently have been many individual cases of Anti Semitism]. The official policy of the law and government is to treat the Jews as equals. Some people cannot adjust to this reality and if the Goyim tell us not to go: to shul, to mikva, to have public weddings etc. it MUST be another evil decree as the likes Antiyochus would make.
But no. Things have changed. Baruch Hashem. These guidelines are there to save our lives. It's OK. Times change. Get with it. The Goyim are forcing us out of our shuls [if we are stupid enough to be there in the first place] in order to save our lives. I just saw a public proclamation by a well known posek in the Satmar community who implored everyone to ignore all of the guidelines and to go to shul with mesirus nefesh, despite the governmental laws to the contrary, because the loss of amein yehei shmei rabbahs is more dangerous than coronavirus. And he has a proof - look at how many people have died since they closed the shuls down!!!馃槙 馃槦
He has a zchus. If people listen to him 专讞"诇 there will be so many more people saying kaddish and think of how many amen yehei shmei rabbahs there will be....
Fortunately 99.999 percent of Rabbonim are telling people to listen to the health authorities [even the 注讚讛 讞专讚讬转!!] and to close the shuls. He will go down in history and before Hashem as being directly responsible for the deaths of Jews. I wouldn't want his gehenom [frankly - I don't want ANY gehenom!!馃槈]
