Co-existence

A my-seh on a Jerusalem basketball court that happened recently that I read abt.:

Four Arab children speaking Arabic came to the court to play on one side of the court. A few minutes later, something like twenty-five Charedi boys came to the court to play. The Charedi children played on the vacant half of the court and did not come close at all to the other half of the court where the Arab children played. A quarter of an hour later, one of them approached the Arab children and politely asked: "How much longer are you going to play here?".

The Arab children looked at the number of Charedi children playing on half a court and replied, "We'll be gone in five minutes." Then one Charedi child walked into the half-court of the Arab children at which point the other children told him: "Do not disturb them. Let them finish!".

The Arab children finished playing and walked away. The big one among them who seemed a little embarrassed and confused went to shake the hand of one of the Charedi children (in the other hand he held the ball).

THAT is peace in the Middle East....
