Wisdom Derived From The Extraction Of Wisdom

Today I went to the dentist for what I thought would be a simple fixing of a small crack in a tooth. It turns out that I had to have the [wisdom] tooth pulled. He told me that in 30 years he has had only two other difficult pulls like this one. Last time he pulled my tooth he told me it was about the hardest ever. Both times he almost yanked my entire mouth out of my face. Apparently, my teeth feel very connected to my gums and have severe separation anxiety. It was agonizing. As he was pulling, I kept thinking about Mengele's ימ"ש experiments. Not that I am comparing but I was thinking that if this is what it is like with anesthesia, and from someone who is trying to help me and doing his best to be gentle - imagine what it was like with the Satan himself!!! 

For the last few hours I have experienced great physical discomfort Baruch Hashem. 

So I would like to use this opportunity to thank Hashem publicly!!!

Dentists!! W/o them my tooth would have caused me tremendous pain with little or no relief!!!  

Anesthesia!!! W/o it I think I would have died from pain. I heard the crushing and cracking of my bones. 

Stiches!!! Otherwise I could have bled to death!!!

For all my healthy teeth!!!! Close to 50 years old and they are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They chew ANY food!!! Milchig, fleishig, hard, soft, cold, hot etc. etc.!!!!!!!!!!!!

For all the times [unlike now] that I can swallow without pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For all the times I don't have painful headaches [like now - OUCH!!:-)]!!!!!!!!!!

For all the times I can talk for HOURSSSSS without pain [unlike now]!!!! 

For antibiotics so I don't get sicker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [I caught the pharmacy about 9 minutes before closing, didn't have my insurance card so they wouldn't sell me the medicine, borrowed someone's phone, called up my house, my daughter RANNNN over and in the nick of time we made it!!!]. 

For Eretz Yisroel where dentists cost far less than they do in the USA!!! [914.53 shekel for a bunch of x-rays, a cleaning and the extraction - not including tax]. 

Please daven for Elchonon ben Henna Miriam among others in Klal Yisrael who are not feeling so great!!!
