Skepticism

"We live in a culture that has cultivated the idea that the skeptical person is always smarter than one who believes. You can almost be as stupid as a cabbage as long as you doubt.”

But the truth is that skeptics ALSO have a lot of beliefs. They just focus on being skeptical of the beliefs of others while ignoring the fact that they too possess beliefs at which one can scoff. There is really no such thing as a non-believer. Everybody believes in something. It is just a question of what the subject of one's belief is.
