I THOUGHT that the source of the friction between Bill and Melinda Gates that led to their separation started with an argument whether to say la-omer of ba-omer and it just escalated from there. Big Mussar for life: EVERY man in power is going to use his position to curry favors from ladies he finds attractive. This is the case b/c this is the nature of the Male Animal. He sees an attractive woman and wants more. It has ancient roots [see Bereishis 6-2] and nothing has changed. Any powerful man who is clean of indiscretions is the exception and not the rule.
There is only ONE THING that will stop a man besides her not being willing and being afraid of getting caught - and that is fear of G-d. No Hashem awareness - forget abt. it. Just being a "moral humanist" does not stand in anyone's way. People talk a big game [as Bill does] but למעשה they don't withstand temptation. All morals dissipate to nothingness in the face of male passion. כי יצר לב האדם רע מנעוריו. In order to transcend our nature we have to understand it.
So learn a lot of mussar and chassidus and still ..... never trust yourself. We are all human and subject to tremendous spiritual and moral lows.
