The Rambam [Teshuva 10-1] writes that serving Hashem out of fear of punishment is for the emotionally immature. One should serve out of LOVE!!
Elsewhere [Sefer Hamitzvos 4], the Rambam asserts that there is a Biblical obligation to serve out of fear of punishment!
How do we square these two Rambams???
Asking for a person who claims that "there is nothing to fear but fear itself", "the world is a narrow bridge and the most important thing is not to be afraid at ALL" and that "all ya need is love, love is all ya need". He says the last line while VERY high on LSD.
