I saw this advertised in a *Charedi* publication:

All for only ... 18k [minus a few dollars for cosmetic purposes] per person. So my wife and I - a mere 36k for two weeks. ביני ובינך מה היא!!
I am sooooooooooooooooooo conflicted.
On one hand, I was taught that we are in this world to do mitzvos, get close to Hasshem and go to Olam Haba. Is going on vacation with other people's wives, leaving EY and spending money on this instead of using the same money to support a struggling frum family whose father is sitting and learning for a whole year going to get me closer to Hashem for now and forever? I mean - this is my chance in עולם הזה. I can't blow it!
On the other hand - this was advertised in a Heimishe publication for Heimishe people who believe in Torah Mi-Sinai and that has also rabbinic supervision. So it MUST be OK.... Plus, I CAN'T WAIT to find our about my *inspiring* Jewish heritage in Hong Kong. The great Rabbonim and Tzadikim who lived there, the large vibrant communities and much more! And the *meaning* I will discover in Auckland!!
What should I do??
Asking for a friend.... [Baruch Hashem - I personally don't have a conflict b/c on principle I don't spend less that 50k on a vacation and anyway at the end of December I will be paaaaartyyiinnnggg the nights away in Cancun. Don't tell the tuition board at my son's high school. Ok - I made that up. I don't have a son in high school. But Cancun is defnitely a great place to get high.].
