How To Let Go Of Resentment

There is a great deal of resentment from the Dati Leumi community against the Charedim b/c Dati Leumi boys are being killed on the battlefield while Charedi boys are not.

Let us say that they are right and their criticism is justified. But who wants to walk around with resentment???!!! It eats away at you!

So Elul is a GREAT TIME to let go of resentment. It doesn't help ANYONE!! It is like swallowing poison and waiting for the other guy to die.

So here is an alternate way of looking at it: It is a ZCHUS!! Wow!! We have the unique zchus to risk and give our lives for Hashem, for His people and for His Land. No resentment. Appreciation. Gratitude.

The Charedi man can also be resentful: Why was I raised in a community where I receive no serious secular education and am destined to live a life where I have close to no money and ten plus children to support [Nusach Eretz Yisrael]??! The Charedi women can say - Why do I have to work full time, be the main bread winner, take care of the house, have many children etc. etc. so that my husband can learn?? NOT FAIR!! So many others are making big bucks and live lives free of financial distress [or so it seems....].

But most Charedim aren't resentful at all! They feel gratitude that their lives are devoted to Talmud Torah and fulfilling Ratzon Hashem. כולו קודש!!

Transform your resentment into gratitude and appreciation:-).

And love....
