A friend sent me an article in the New York Times [whose motto is "All the news that's fit to print with a left wing, pro-arab, pro homosexual, pro abortion, supra liberal slant"] from this week about Yeshiva league hockey. I won't link the article because I think there are better things to do with your time rather than read the Times. But it related to this recent post.
One of the most telling lines of the article was when the commissioner of the league described how one school defeated its rival in the championsip "It was like the Messiah had come".
You know sweetest friends, when our great grandparents and other relatives were being thrown into the ovens because they were Jewish and some even went with Ani Maamin Be-emunah Shleima Bivias Hamoshiach on their lips and in their hearts - I don't think that this is what they had in mind.
A stick, a ball, a net. The stick hits the ball into the net past a boy wearing a funny mask. Wow.
"Until you bleed". This is MAMESH NUTS!! How can anyone with true Jewish feeling spend 25K to send their son to a school where he is being educated this way??? You couldn't pay me a MILLION DOLLARS to send my kid to a place like this.
