The Gemara in Bava Kamma [41b] assumes that after the סקילה of the שור הנסקל the animal is a נבילה and thus forbidden to be eaten. Why?? Maybe it is like שעיר המשתלח where the mitzva is considered שחיטה [as the Gemara says דחייתו זוהי שחיטתו - Yoma 64a]. Also, עגלה ערופה is considered שחיטה according to some opinions. So maybe סקילת שור הנסקל can be considered שחיטה as well even though it is not שחיטה in the classical sense??!! [קושיית המנ"ח]
