"A singer apologized after a concert took place last night in Yerushalayim's Binyanei Ha-umah that had mixed seating and at one point there were boys and seminary age girls dancing adjacent to one another. He said that unfortunately, for a short time, dances started that I could not see from the stage due to a lot of lighting and due to the fact that the hall is large and wide. "I appear from the beginning of my career only in performances that take place according to the boundaries of halakhah. I asked the production company to draw lessons to prevent the recurrence of such cases.""
I too MUST confess. I CONSISTENTLY have mixed dancing events in my very own home.
Me and my daughters. At Shabbos meals, Chanukah lighting etc. etc.
I have officially placed myself in cherem. It is QUITE a challenge not to enter my own dalet amos. 馃槀馃槀

PS - This is not to be taken as taking lack of tzniyus lightly. Any mixed concert in my opinion is not an event a Ben or Bas Torah should attend for various reasons [more the boys shouldn't than the girls].
