An interesting phenomenon: Well meaning parents send their children to Jewish day schools and post high school learning programs in Israel. They spend hundreds of thousands of dollars per child. But the values of the teachers [i.e. rabbeim] in the schools are often in conflict with the values of the parents. For example - the students are taught in school to strictly keep halacha whereas at home there is no such emphasis. In school they are taught that Talmud Torah is primary while at home they are taught that their secular education is more important. This creates no small amount of conflict between parents and children.
So parents spend a fortune of money to have their kids taught things they don't agree with and then fight their kids that they shouldn't follow what they are taught.
This is מן השמים. It is why we have so many amazing Jews. W/o good chinuch where would we be???!!
