A boy was once smoking in the middle of the shiur of the great gaon Rav Gustman ztz"l. Rav Gustman didn't like it and asked the boy why he had to smoke at that time. The boy explained that he is tense and smoking calms him.

Rav Gustman replied that when the Nazis took his son from his hands and shot the child in front of his eyes, he was in control of his nerves. What, asked Rav Gustman, do YOU have to be tense about??
