One of the candidates for President complained about the racism in the US by noting that there are 800 percent [!! - I think that was the number] more black jail inmates than white inmates.
That is a GREAT point! But maybe, just maybe, it is because black people commit more crimes than white people. Like, would a person be more afraid to be stuck at night in a white neighborhood like Scarsdale of Beverly Hills or in a black neighborhood like Harlem.
That doesn't mean that black people are genetically disposed to committing crimes. It DOES mean that in practice they commit more crimes.
