Once A Jew, Always ...

A Yid named Schwartz gets rejected from a country club. He calls up the famous politician Barry Goldwater [originally Goldvasser] who was a member there to help get him in, figuring that as a fellow Jew he'd be able to help.

Goldwater says: Listen, I am a Protestant, my father was a Protestant and my grandfather alav hashalom was a Protestant! So I can't help you.

Reminds me:

A Jew converts to Christianity and learns to become a priest. He goes for his first sermon on a Sunday and all the chashuve church leaders are there.

After the speech he asks his superior how he did.

"You were very good, but next time don't start your sermon with the words "Fellow Goyim".
