This is where America has gone in the last few months.
If you believe in discriminating in favor of whites over blacks - you are racist.
If you are in favor of equality - you are a racist.
The only way NOT to be racist is to be in favor of discrimination of blacks over whites. In other words - one is only not racist if he is racist.
So only Black Lives Matter but not white lives.
When a white cop kills a black person it is the end of the world - but when [daily] blacks kill blacks it is really OK b/c it is not white over black but a bit of internal family rivalry.
Martin Luther King was a racist when he said "I haaaaaaaave a dream that man will be judged not by the color of his skin but by the content of his character". Today man must be judged by the color of his skin - and if it is white then he should feel really badly about that.
Blacks must be given special rights and privileges but not whites. If one openly gives whites special privileges over blacks he is a white supremacist. But there is no term "black supremacist" b/c that would imply that preferring blacks over whites is morally flawed and that is actually the ideal. After all those years of slavery - we owe it to them.
If one thinks that the best way to help blacks is not to just give them lots of free stuff he is considered KKK material. One may not impose "white" ideas such as a strong family unit or the importance of education.
If one votes for Trump - he is branded a White Supremacist-KKK-Nazi. Hillary famously called half of all Trump supporters [over 30 million Americans in the last election] "a bag of deplorables".

If one expresses gratitude to the US for all the rights and privileges given to black people then he just doesn't understand how much black people suffer daily from systemic racism. So to take a knee during the national anthem - essentially spitting on the flag - is lauded by many as a brave act of love, care and protest in honor of the black community and not a disgusting display of being ungrateful to a benevolent benefactor. It is like stepping on your mother's face b/c of the few times she was impatient with you and ignoring the millions of acts of love she performed on your behalf.
There is a problem in our society but the mob shouts down any voice that doesn't agree with them about the solutions. Just b/c someone thinks that the solutions are different from the prevailing CNN NY Times narrative doesn't make them a racist. Maybe they actually care MORE about blacks.
[This is interesting.]
