Hashem promises Avraham that if he leaves his land, birthplace and father's house, he will merit great bracha.
Lesson: Sometimes, in order to be a receptacle for Hashem's bounty you have to LET GO and leave behind things from your past that you are desperately holding on to but are nevertheless holding you back.
