That being said - there is a mitzva of ואהבת לרעך כמוך towards EVERY OTHER JEW. Before one explores whether he is properly fulfilling the mitzva to hate sinners, maybe he should make sure he is fulfilling the mitzva to love everyone else.
I promise, if we would all fulfill this mitzva, there would be FAAAARRR fewer problems in Klal Yisrael.
