Today is the yahrtzeit of the Chebiner Rov ztz"l.
Someone once commented to Rav Shlomo Zalman that many stories of gedolim are exaggerated or made up.
Said Rav Shlomo Zalman ztz"l [who was a neighbor in Shaarei Chesed] "Not stories of the Chebiner Rov. His reality far exceeded what anybody could ever imagine".
When the Chazon Ish saw him for the first time he asked who that Jew is. He sees the Shechina on him! They brought him his sefer דובב מישרים and the Chazon Ish was blown away and became a huge fan.
