He didn't have one friend on Facebook, he didn't have email and [very likely] didn't even know how to turn on a computer - and yet hundreds of thousands at his funeral.
That says a lot.
It is not DESPITE his detachment from this world but BECAUSE of his detachment from this world that he was so special.
