“I just want to have fun,” said McCray
“For the guy who took the chance on a woman who was an out lesbian and wrote an article called ‘I Am a Lesbian’ … there was a part of me that would at times say, ‘Hmmm, is this like a time bomb ticking? Is this something that you’re going to regret later on?’” de Blasio said.
They will both be dating other women and ostensibly if they feel a woman isn't right for them then they will set her up with their ex.

Mussar Haskels:
1] We live in a culture which is all about fun. So even a woman in her late 60's can split up with her husband but for convenience sake [or whatever other reasons] continue living together. "Dating other people" for Goyim doesn't mean like with us that you sit in a hotel lobby and talk for 2 hours. It means Arayos. They are still, they claim, very much in love. [The love is so overwhelming they can't stay together...] But they [or at least she] wants "fun". The Mussar is not to get sucked into that. There is no word in Lashon Hakodesh for fun. There is room for "fun" but as a diversion and not purpose.
2] If someone has problems with their sexuality - don't marry them. de Blasio's hunch was right. One might ask "what was he THINKING???" Don't think that after marriage the problem will be solved.
3] This is really none of my business but they sort of told the whole world and made a big deal out of it, most probably so that we can all learn Mussar Haskels!!! 😊😊
THE FAMILY OF THE CHANOCHITES – Because the heathen nations spoke slightingly of Israel, saying, "How can these trace their descent by their tribes? Do they think that the Egyptians did not overmaster their mothers? If they showed themselves master of their bodies, it is quite certain that they did so over those of their wives!". On this account the Holy One, blessed be He, set His name upon them: the letter ה on one side of their name and the letter י on the other side (החנכי), to intimate: I bear testimony for them that they are the sons of their reputed fathers (and not of the Egyptians) (Shir HaShirim Rabbah 4:12). This it is that is expressed by David, (Psalms 122:4) שבטי יה עדות לישראל: "that the tribes bear the name of the Lord (יה) is a testimony regarding Israel" – this Divine Name (יה) bears testimony regarding their tribes (i.e. that they rightly attach themselves to those tribes to which they claim to belong).
Our families are holy and have י-ה, a name of Hashem, in them. We have to remember that and not be influenced by the slow but steady erosion of normal family life in the West.
