Some women, nebuch, suffer from a religious inferiority complex, as if somehow men are greater than women. We have written about these women in the past. It is but a complex. The reality is that every woman can be as close to Hashem as she allows herself to be. There is a striking passage in the medrash Tana D'bei Eliyahu:
ANYBODY can have Ruach Hakodesh, הכל לפי מעשיו - it all depends on their behavior. Men possess qualities women lack but women possess positive qualities that men lack.
Many Sefardim have an inferiority complex towards Ashkenazim. That, too, has no basis. The Sefardim have a majestic history and have nothing of which to be ashamed. I am an Ashkenazi. I am not interested in being Sefardi and take pride in my heritage as well.
EVERY GROUP IS SPECIAL. We are all one nation and serve Hashem as a unit, each part contributing its own unique talents and qualities.
A Goy can be a happy Goy. He can believe in G-d, be faithful to his wife, pay taxes, give charity and be all around a good guy [or girl].
We all have a purpose in life.
Be happy with who you are!!!
