WASHINGTON — While he didn’t announce a boycott ahead of time, Sen. Bernie Sanders joined six Democrat party rabid antisemites lawmakers in staying out of the chamber for President Isaac Herzog’s speech to a joint session of Congress.
In a statement afterward, Sanders says that “it’s no great secret that I strongly oppose the policies of Israel’s right-wing, anti-Palestinian government. We provide them with $3.8 billion in aid. We have a right to demand they respect human rights. We give them money - we own them. That is how I raised my own children. I support you - I own you. The Palestinians are a peace loving, gentle, warm, kind and sensitive people. Their political leaders and sheikhs promote peaceful coexistence. Despite this, a Palestinian cannot walk into any Jewish neighborhood without fearing for his life. The Israelis would lynch him if possible. We all remember how Israelis would blow themselves up on buses, maiming and killing innocent Palestinians. Any Jew who is ill is treated with devoted care in Palestinian hospitals in places like Gaza but in Israeli hospitals they refuse to treat Palestinian patients or even employ Palestinian doctors and nurses. Shameful. It breaks my heart to see such a gentle, peace loving people living under such a harsh occupation. The Palestinians have been living in Palestine for thousands of years while the Jews only arrived there for the first time, a hundred years ago. Before that - they had no connection to Israel. What right do they have to occupy Palestinian territory?”

Other progressives WERE on site for the speech, including Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who warmly put out her hand to shake President Herzog’s hand before he reached the podium. He did not take her hand and instead bowed to her, explaining that his grandfather, the late great Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Halevi Herzog, his namesake, ruled that touching women is outta bounds!! He added that due to global warming, his hands are really sweaty anyway, so she wouldn't want to shake his hand. She LOVED it!!😊😊 Get ridda those fossil fuels!!!
Others who skipped the speech were progressive Reps. Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Nydia Velazquez, Jamaal Bowman, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Cori Bush.
Since they had free time, they all went over to Bernie's place and had a kumzitz. There was lots of food, drink and most importantly - hartzige chasdishe niggunim. Bernie taught these female [whatever THAT means...] lovers of Zion, various niggunim he used to sing while growing up in Flatbush, Brooklyn, before deciding that, ya know what, I want to dedicate my life to raising a non-Jewish family, publicly attacking Israel, and promoting Socialism - all while owning three luxurious homes. He takes secret pride in being a "millionaire Socialist" but is secretly crazy-jealous of his fellow socialist-human-rights-warrior Elizabeth Warren, who is worth well over 4 million dollars [besides all of the money she has under her husband's name and various assets]. Being descended from Indians, Warren likes to compare the Israeli occupation of Palestine with the American occupation of Indian territory. "I should personally own half of the State of Texas. It is my family property", she asserted.
