Learning The Sources Objectively

I came upon a source sheet on the sefaria website. The topic was women rabbis. The Torah and Chazal never address this issue and it only came up in the last few decades. Three sources were cited. ALL THREE affirmed, that yes indeed, women MAY become rabbis. [Interesting that the person who posted this sheet was an Orthodox woman with her head covered].

So there you have it fans!! Judaism is unequivocal. Woman rabbis are as legitimate as male rabbis. No question. There are no other opinions. It is SHOCKING that historically, we have no record of women rabbis until the last few years and the "Rabba Revolution", spearheaded by people who one might argue are less than completely traditional in their attitudes and behavior. It is so clearly OK! I mean, didn't they notice that half of the population was being excluded??!! And even now, in the age of "Woke-'23" there are almost no Orthodox congregations which are led by women rabbis. So STRANGE!! 馃槉馃槉馃槉

SWEETEST FRIENDS!!! If you look hard enough you can find lots of far out opinions on lots of things. Think about it - people on the farthest left of the political spectrum prove their position from Torah sources - as did R' Meir Kahane. So you see that if you have an opinion, you can find a basis for it in the Torah. Pro killing fetuses, anti killing fetuses, pro birth control, anti birth control, pro "land for peace" anti "land for peace", pro kollel, anti kollel, republican, democrat, socialist, capitalist, Mets fan, Yankees fan, you name it. It's all there. The task is to try to be as objective as possible and not start with a position that you know is going to be your conclusion and then manipulate the sources to service your agenda.
