וַיִּסְעוּ מִמִּדְבַּר סִינָי וַיַּחֲנוּ בְּקִבְרֹת הַתַּאֲוָה.
The moment one leaves Torah - he goes to תאוה which buries him.
I once asked a boy who had gone off the derech what percentage of his friends have fallen in matters of Kedusha.
He said: 100 percent.
בראתי יצר הרע בראתי תורה תבלין.
Not learning Torah is a סגולה בדוקה ומנוסה to be נכשל in עניני עריות.
And somehow, some way, parents hand their children little machines with endless sources of all of the depravity of which sick men have conceived.
I remember when I was a little kid and went to camp. I had a friend who would read dirty magazines and told me that his father would read them and share them with his son [who was about 10!]. Even then I thought that this was strange. Today, almost every parent gives their child millions of pornographic magazines. Kids come to Israel for a few months to learn Torah and walk around with all of that filth in their pockets and minds. The parents allow it and the [modern] yeshivos allow it!!
This, to my mind, is one of the biggest scandals on earth.
