I heard a Talmid Chochom who [like most of mankind] is addicted to his phone, say after Shachris the Hebrew equivalent of "Oops, I forgot my phone".
That's funny, b/c there was another man in shul [who *might* or might not be me] who firmly believes that it is either absolutely אסור or on the boundary of being אסור to bring a phone into a shul. So his forgetfulness saved him from an aveirah [according to this well based Halachic conclusion].
Respect G-d and His holy abode and leave your phones outside.
It'll be OK. Nothing bad will happen.
You might actually find yourself concentrating on davening better.
