Tis the season to talk about Avoda Zara. Says tehillim about it:
ו. אוזניים להם, ולא ישמעו; אף להם, ולא יריחון.
ז. ידיהם, ולא ימישון--רגליהם, ולא יהלכו; לא-יהגו, בגרונם.
Shouldn't it say גרונם ולא יהגו in order to follow the structure of the pasuk?
And why not shorten it and say עיניהם ולא יראו and אזניהם ולא ישמעו as it says later "ידיהם" and "רגליהם"?
