People say "be natural. Don't suppress your true self". OK - but we have to remember that the world has a spiritual nature and man must live according to that nature. Just giving expression to our physical desires and sensual pleasures is to sin to our most basic selves. Following one's spiritual nature is the foundation of the Torah.
