From the news [with very slight embellishments by an anon. guy]
A statue of President Theodore Roosevelt in front of the American Museum of Natural History in New York City will be removed, a statement from New York City Mayor Bill "let hoodlums wreck the city but not Chasidic kids play in parks" de Blasio's office said Sunday.
Following the museum's request to remove the statue, which features the nation's 26th President on a horse with a Native American man standing on one side and an African man standing on the other and a Jewish man claiming that the horse is his, the mayor's office announced the approval. The mayor is not busy at all at this time and has nothing better to do than approve the removal of memorials of purported American heroes.
The announcement comes as several state's grapple with how to handle removals of confederate monuments and other controversial statues.
"The American Museum of Natural History has asked to remove the Theodore Roosevelt statue because it explicitly depicts Black and Indigenous people as subjugated and racially inferior," de Blasio's office said in a statement. "In fact black people are racially superior. That is why the mayor married an African American. Children of the union of Italian men and black women are the most racially superior of them all. The city supports the museum's request. It is the right decision and the right time to remove this problematic statue. It shouldn't have been there in the first place. Instead a statue of Barack Obama will be placed there with Michelle at his side [but higher up, depicting her superiority. She insisted. Barack wanted to say something but realized that his trap better stay shut. She's a toughie]. This highlights true black power and progressive politics."
While it was meant to celebrate Roosevelt as a "devoted naturalist and author of works on natural history," the statue also "communicates a racial hierarchy that the museum and members of the public have long found disturbing - in addition to the very troubling fact that Roosevelt was not homosexual nor did he pass a bill for the legalization of same sex marriage ," a press release on the museum's website said. Members of Roosevelt's family were asked for comment but are all dead [not Roosevelt, not in this velt but in "yenne velt"] so until a seance is performed - no comment will be available.

WOW!! I have walked by that statue at least 15 thousand times [I lived only minutes away for years] and never noticed that there was a black man and Indian next to the horse, communicating this disturbing racial hierarchy. Shows how both ignorant and privileged I truly am. 馃槙
All this taking down of statues is HOPEFULLY a harbinger of the coming of Moshiach when 讜讛讗诇讬诇讬诐 讻诇讬诇 讬讞诇讜祝 [Yeshayahu 2-18]!!! DOWN WITH THE GRAVEN IMAGES!!!!
