I recently saw a promotional video for a certain educational institution. It claimed to be 50 years old. At the time of the video, it was actually 14 [!!!] years old. I am not making this up [they were the ones making things up...]. In the video they told the story of the birth of the institution. As one familiar with the story, I can say that it was complete revisionist history.
Chazal assure us that before Moshiach comes תהא האמת נעדרת - Truth will be missing.
That is an illness. Let's try to be part of the cure and seek honesty whenever we can.
