There is one popular MO Rabbi who preaches that faith is not that we are certain but that we have the courage to believe even though we are not certain. רחמנא ליצלן מהאי דעתא. May we be saved from such gibberish. It is clear from the Torah and the Rambam li-halacha that we must be certain. If someone has doubts then it is like every other spiritual test which must be overcome.
